My OT Journey is a planner and wellness app for occupational therapy students, created with Robin Akselrud, OTD. This page explains what the app stores and who can see it.

What we store

• Your email address and first name (and your program, if you add it), to sign you in with a one-time code and personalize the app. There is no password.
• What you enter in the app: your planner items, goals, daily check-ins (mood, sleep, water, gratitude, movement, how nourished you feel, self-care), worksheets, coloring, countdowns and fieldwork hours.
• The days you open the app (the date only, not what you did).

Reminders are scheduled on your phone only. We do not use advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your information.

Who can see it

Your entries are private to you. They are stored securely with our database provider (Supabase) and protected so that only your signed-in account can read them.

Schools

Joining a school is optional and always your choice. If you join, your program staff can see only:

• your name, email and the date you joined,
• how many days you opened the app, and
• how many days you completed your daily check-in.

They never see what you wrote or chose: no moods, notes, gratitude, sleep, nourishment, movement, goals, worksheets, coloring, countdowns, fieldwork notes or planner items. They only see days after you joined. You can leave your school at any time in Profile → My school, and they stop seeing you right away.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account in the app: open Profile, choose Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm. You need an internet connection. Your account and everything you saved are deleted right away, and your school can no longer see you in its portal. The app also clears its saved data, reminders, widgets and any running fieldwork timer from your phone.

Files you or your school exported or shared outside the app (for example a fieldwork hours spreadsheet) are not removed. Routine encrypted backups held by our database provider expire on their normal schedule. If you can't use the app, email yossi@akselrud.com from the address you sign in with and we will delete your account for you.
